Knockout Bids - Lowest Unique Guess Wins!
Knockout Bids is a great new game where the lowest unique guess wins!
I discovered this site a couple of days ago and was blown away! You might have seen similar 'lowest unique bid wins' games as I have, but none of them compare to Knockout Bids!
It's a rather simple concept; player's join the site, and place guesses into the games. The idea is to guess the lowest number that no one else guesses. This makes it the lowest unique guess. Get that guess and you will win the prize you are playing for. It's pretty simple!
There are great prizes on offer in all of the games. At the time I joined I was playing for Playstation 3's, Cash, Amazon Kindle's, Camcorder's and more! There's a great community aspect as well that makes the game more exciting! Each player has their own username and avatar that is displayed throughout the site so you know who is winning each game, who is knocking who's guesses out of the games and what the range is that the current winning guess is in.
It does cost a small amount to play, but for what you can win it's a bargain! I signed up on a Monthly Membership that was $2.95/wk and there are others at $1.95 and $4.95/wk.
Overall great fun with great prizes! A recommendation for everyone!

Prizetune - Sweepstakes Community
Prizetune is a great sweepstakes community!
This site is great for those that love winning (or at least trying to!). Prizetune is continually updated with the latest sweepstakes from America, Canada and the United Kingdom.
At the time of publishing this review there were 14493 sweepstakes on the site, categorized by number of entries available, products, most popular, among others.
When viewing the sweepstakes pages, they are listed in a simple manner that is easy to read and understand, displaying a short description and the value of the prize for those greedy readers!
The community page is great, allowing you to see those users that have won prizes, who has the most entries, etc which brings a great feel to the site and keeps up the hope that you might soon enough join those winners!
The greatest feature of this site is the auto entry toolbar. Use this toolbar to fill out competition forms instantly and save your time, allowing you to enter more competitions faster!
Overall a great site for anybody that loves competitions, particularly in the hard times that we are all facing now.

Mytopia - great concept, could be executed better...
Mytopia has the potential to be great, but it lets itself down..
Visually, the site is great, the design is rich and full of colour and vibrance that just makes you want to play! The first problem i encountered however is that once logged in you are forced to operate in a very small window, that cannot be maximised. I found this very disappointing as it takes away from my gaming experience when i have a bunch of other things that can distract me in the background, i want to get lost in the world!
The town of mytopia in which you land in once signed in is a great little area to navigate around the site, you click through the different buildings to navigate through and play the different games. Once you choose a location, you play the games at that spot and can win gold and silver. You can use your gold and silver to purchase items from the shop. what you can do with these items i'm yet to know!
When in game there are features such as IM chat with other people who are currently playing, and there are also other community features around the site such as discussion boards, invite your friends and messaging.
To go back to the gaming side of the site, there is another point that i find irritating. The fact that you are already operating in a small pop-up is a pain, let alone the fact that another pop-up is produced once you want to play a game, which to me is too many pop-ups!
Overall, I recommend to have a look at the site, but don't imagine you will get too carried away with it. It's a great idea in the time when people are looking to be a step ahead of the competition, but I think this one just misses out!

Small Worlds - Next Generation Social Network
Now I know this isn't as such a gaming or competition site, but it's so good I had to review it!
I discovered Small Worlds only recently and this is a next step in Social Networking! I know there's a few sites around that are already using a 3d world with avatars, but Small Worlds appears to be a step ahead in user experience.
Small Worlds starts with you creating your avatar. There are many aspects that can be changed on your avatar after you choose a base to start with. Small details from the size of your nose, angle of your eyebrows and the look of your eyes can be altered, right up to creating a dance for your avatar that can carry across some 20 different moves in a single routine. Change the angle of their body, the position of their arms, their legs and more in order to create the 'coolest dance' in Small Worlds!
Once in the network, you are required to complete challenges in order to gain extra tokens to purchase items to fit out your room. You can choose to do this straight away or come back to it whenever you wish. In the meantime you can visit a range of different rooms around Small Worlds including nightclubs and shops to purchase different items using your tokens. When you are in clubs such as the Cue Club you can chat to other users and even challenge them to games of pool in which you can use the instant chat on the side whilst playing. The vibe in the rooms are also enhanced by the playing of the latest chart hits to set the mood as if it wasn't good enough already!
It is only in Beta stage at the moment so I'm sure we can expect much more in the future from Small Worlds and can't wait to see what it is!
Overall this site is great! I recommend that everyone should check it out!

YouPlay - Play Games, Win Cash!
I stumbled across this site about 6 months ago and was pleasantly surprised!
As a free member you have access to playing a great range of games from Sudoku and Trivia to action favorites like Bejewled and Chuzzle! As a paying member, you have the chance to win cash prizes every day.
The community aspect of YouPlay allows members to create their own fully customizable avatar, pirates, witches, you name it! News feeds on the home page allow you to see the most played games, latest avatars, the scores people are achieving and the games they are playing. Included when playing games is also an Instant Messaging system where you can chat with other players.
My favourite games on You Play would have to be Sudoku Combat where you can play Sudoku against other players and Chuzzle, a very addictive action game in which you must match the colors of the 'Chuzzles' in order to score points.
Overall a great site if you enjoy casual gaming and the chance to win cash also adds to the experience! But lets face it, it has to be something special to earn 5/5!

Premium SMS Gaming Services
'Enter your mobile number for a free ringtone and a chance to win an ipod!'
Look familiar? There's plenty of these scams getting around on the internet and thousands of people getting charged ridiculous amounts to their phone bill each week. Mobile gaming, ringtones, SMS competitions have become very popular with the advances in mobile technology so many companies are looking to take advantage of this. There are a number of things to look out for when signing up to a mobile service:
- What does it cost? (each service should have a list of terms and conditions that will state how much you will be charged each week, they are often hidden a little)
- What do you get for your money? (you can get a range of things with these offers from wallpapers to games to chances to win cash. Make sure you're getting what you want)
- Who runs the site? (Some of the premium sms sites are legitimate, while others are run by companies outside of your country and are just looking to cash in on you, rather than offer you a legitimate service. This information is usually found in the terms and conditions.)
Now while saying this, mobile payment is not always a bad thing. There are a number of great services around that use mobile payment as an option that are offering very valuable services to their customers. Just follow the steps above and you should get what you pay for!
