Play Free Online Games!

Play Free Online Games is a new flash game portal to hit the casual gaming market. Like many other portals it takes some of the best games from around the net, using miniclip, flashgames247, armorgames and more!

Whilst relatively new, the site has a great layout and is adding games regularly to increase its content. Only time will tell whether this will become a dominant force in the online gaming industry, or whether Play Free Online Games will be just another needle in the casual gaming haystack.

Doof - Sounds dumb, but it isn't!

Doof is a great example of what 2.0 should be!

Doof is a great new site to enter the online gaming and community scene. It ties together a great blend of entertainment and social interaction executed with some great creative design.

Doof allows you to add challenge your friends (old and new) to a great selection of games including card games, puzzle games, sports games and action games.  You can create your own profile, view other profiles and chat with people you may or may not know. It's a great way to connect with others and have some fun at the same time!

It's the finishing touches that set Doof apart from other gaming sites, such as the small pop up that displays when somebody new logs in with comments like 'funbloggerboy decided to show up'.

All in all a great new site with loads of potential, let's just hope it can stick around!

Knockout Bids - Lowest Unique Guess Wins!

Knockout Bids is a great new game where the lowest unique guess wins!

I discovered this site a couple of days ago and was blown away! You might have seen similar 'lowest unique bid wins' games as I have, but none of them compare to Knockout Bids

It's a rather simple concept; player's join the site, and place guesses into the games. The idea is to guess the lowest number that no one else guesses. This makes it the lowest unique guess. Get that guess and you will win the prize you are playing for. It's pretty simple!

There are great prizes on offer in all of the games. At the time I joined I was playing for Playstation 3's, Cash, Amazon Kindle's, Camcorder's and more! There's a great community aspect as well that makes the game more exciting! Each player has their own username and avatar that is displayed throughout the site so you know who is winning each game, who is knocking who's guesses out of the games and what the range is that the current winning guess is in.

It does cost a small amount to play, but for what you can win it's a bargain! I signed up on a Monthly Membership that was $2.95/wk and there are others at $1.95 and $4.95/wk.

Overall great fun with great prizes! A recommendation for everyone!

Prizetune - Sweepstakes Community

Prizetune is a great sweepstakes community!

This site is great for those that love winning (or at least trying to!). Prizetune is continually updated with the latest sweepstakes from America, Canada and the United Kingdom

At the time of publishing this review there were 14493 sweepstakes on the site, categorized by number of entries available, products, most popular, among others.

When viewing the sweepstakes pages, they are listed in a simple manner that is easy to read and understand, displaying a short description and the value of the prize for those greedy readers!

The community page is great, allowing you to see those users that have won prizes, who has the most entries, etc which brings a great feel to the site and keeps up the hope that you might soon enough join those winners!

The greatest feature of this site is the auto entry toolbar. Use this toolbar to fill out competition forms instantly and save your time, allowing you to enter more competitions faster!

Overall a great site for anybody that loves competitions, particularly in the hard times that we are all facing now.

Totally Awesome Freebies - Competitions Galore!

One of the best competition directory sites around!

Totally Awesome Freebies is a competitions directory packed full of links to some of the best free offers and competitions around the net. They cater for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia

The Totally Awesome Freebies pages consist of everything from Free Lipstick offers to Cash Reward Surveys. It's a great place for those people that love competitions and are out find a bargain, or even better, freebies!

The thing that lets the site down is the navigation. Once you click through to a category, you must then find the link at the top of the page and click multiple links to get back to the home page.

All in all, a great site for those compers out there!

Mytopia - great concept, could be executed better...

Mytopia has the potential to be great, but it lets itself down..

Visually, the site is great, the design is rich and full of colour and vibrance that just makes you want to play! The first problem i encountered however is that once logged in you are forced to operate in a very small window, that cannot be maximised. I found this very disappointing as it takes away from my gaming experience when i have a bunch of other things that can distract me in the background, i want to get lost in the world!

The town of mytopia in which you land in once signed in is a great little area to navigate around the site, you click through the different buildings to navigate through and play the different games. Once you choose a location, you play the games at that spot and can win gold and silver. You can use your gold and silver to purchase items from the shop. what you can do with these items i'm yet to know!

When in game there are features such as IM chat with other people who are currently playing, and there are also other community features around the site such as discussion boards, invite your friends and messaging.

To go back to the gaming side of the site, there is another point that i find irritating. The fact that you are already operating in a small pop-up is a pain, let alone the fact that another pop-up is produced once you want to play a game, which to me is too many pop-ups!

Overall, I recommend to have a look at the site, but don't imagine you will get too carried away with it. It's a great idea in the time when people are looking to be a step ahead of the competition, but I think this one just misses out!
